GSM/UMTS mobile communication systems - Evaluation of the quality of voice and video-telephone services and of coverage provided by the GSM and WCDMA networks in the main urban centres and along the main roads of the Azores and Madeira

This report presents the results of the evaluation conducted by ANACOM between May and July 2011 on the quality of voice and video-telephone services and of coverage provided by the GSM and WCDMA (UMTS) networks of OPTIMUS, TMN and VODAFONE in the main urban centres - Ponta Delgada, Angra do Heroísmo and Funchal - and along the main roads of all islands - Corvo, Faial, Flores, Graciosa, Pico, S. Jorge, S. Miguel, Santa Maria, Terceira, Madeira and Porto Santo - of Portugal's Autonomous Regions of the Azores and Madeira.  The study was conducted with the analysis of technical parameters which reflect the perception of quality from a consumer standpoint.
