Public payphone service - consultation closes

By determination of 7 July 2011, ANACOM has approved the report on the public consultation on the provision of the public payphone service within the scope of the universal service of telecommunications.

Responses to the consultation document, approved by determination of 18 March 2011, were received from the following undertakings: ACOP - Associação de Consumidores de Portugal (Portugal Consumer Association), Cabovisão, Direcção-Geral Consumidor (Directorate General for the Consumer), Grupo Portugal Telecom (in the name of Portugal Telecom, PT Comunicações, PT Prime and TMN), OniTelecom, Optimus, UGC - União Geral Consumidores (General Union of Consumers), Vodafone Portugal and ZON TV Cabo Portugal (and subsidiaries).
