Revision of the rate of cost of capital of PTC for 2010 and 2011

ANACOM approved, by determination of 21 July 2011, the final draft decision on the revision of the calculation of the rate of the cost of capital of PT Comunicações applicable to the years 2010 and 2011.

It also approved the report of the preliminary hearing and public consultation that this draft decision underwent, following the determination of 7 April 2011, where the following parties stated their positions: Cabovisão, Optimus, Grupo PT (Portugal Telecom SGPS, PT Comunicações, PT Prime and TMN), Vodafone Portugal and ZON Multimédia.

ANACOM also approved the notification to be sent to the European Commission, The Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC), and to the national regulatory authorities of the other Member States, pursuant to Article 7(3) of Directive 2002/21/EC, as amended by Directive 2009/140/EC.
