Consultation on the development and implementation of a cost model for mobile termination

By determination of 18 March 2011, ANACOM decided to launch a public consultation on the methodological definition with respect to the development and implementation of a cost model for mobile termination. The consultation document includes the report "Conceptual approach for mobile BU-LRIC model" prepared by the company  Analysys Mason on the methodological options to be considered in the termination cost model to be developed by this Authority.

The document will be submitted to the general consultation procedure set out in article 8 of Law no. 5/2004 10 February, whereby interested parties are provided a period of twenty working days to comment on the principal methodological options with respect to the cost model for mobile termination. A decision was also taken to hold a public briefing session on the subject during the consultation process.

By determination of 31 March 2011, ANACOM decided to extend the initial deadline by a further eight working days.
