Two public consultations launched by the Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG) of the European Commission, concerning spectrum policy at European Union level, are currently running until July the 14th.
One of these consultations regards the introduction of multimedia services in the frequency bands allocated to the broadcasting services. Under the form of a draft opinion, which may be adopted by the RSPG, this consultation includes the debate on several frequency bands, such as 470-862 MHz and 1452-1492 MHz.
The other document under consultation is a progress report on the work developed by the RSPG on the scientific use of radio spectrum.
Additional information is available at RSPG Consultations, interested parties being requested to submit their comments by email to the RSPG: infso-rspg@cec.eu.int.
