ANACOM launches programme of seminars

ANACOM  has launched a regular programme of seminars, at which consultation and academic reports and studies will be presented and held up for discussion. With these seminars ANACOM aims to spread awareness and provoke debate on a range of issues of relevance to the communications sector as a whole and ANACOM’s regulatory work in particular.

The first three seminars have already been scheduled, and will be taking place this autumn. The first of these will see the presentation of a study, “Prices and price-cost margins of mobile voice services” by Ricardo Cabral and Corrado Andini from Universidade da Madeira, and Henry Chappell from the University of South Carolina (USA), as part of an invitation that ANACOM extended in 2005 to Portugal’s universities to present their studies.

This first seminar has been scheduled for 3 October, at 11.30, and will be held at SANA Malhoa Hotel, in Lisbon, with the following  Programmehttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=205342.

All interested parties and members of the public are free to attend the seminar, but pre-registration is required.
