The tenth meeting of the ANACOM/ANATEL Co-ordination Committee is currently being held in Estremoz. The meeting which began yesterday and ends tomorrow is being held within the scope of bilateral cooperation between ANACOM and its Brazilian counterpart, Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (ANATEL).
The meeting is being attended by the chairmen of both regulators along with the various personnel responsible for the areas up for discussion. The meeting agenda encompasses a range of subjects connected to: cost and tariff models, broadband, radio frequencies, portability, convergence, the internet and Voice over IP (VoIP), laboratories and co-operation within the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP).
