- Final Acts of the World Administrative Radio Conference, Geneva, 1979 (WRC-79) - At this Conference, the Radiocommunications Regulation was adopted, being subsequently approved at national level by the Decree no. 39-A/92 of 1 October.
Several amendments were made to the Radiocommunications Regulation in subsequent world conferences:
- World Administrative Radio Conference for the Mobile Services, Geneva, 1983 (MOB-83);
- World Administrative Radio Conference on the Use of the Geostationary-Satellite Orbit and the Planning of Space Services Utilizing It, Geneva, 1985 (ORB-85);
- World Administrative Radio Conference for the Planning of the HF Bands Allocated to the Broadcasting Service, Geneva, 1987 (HFBC-87);
- World Administrative Radio Conference for the Mobile Services, Geneva, 1987 (MOB-87);
- World Administrative Radio Conference on the Use of the Geostationary-Satellite Orbit and the Planning of Space Services Utilizing It, Geneva, 1988 (ORB-88);
- World Administrative Radio Conference for Dealing with Frequency Allocations in Certain Parts of the Spectrum, Malaga-Torremolinos, 1992 (WARC-92).
Portugal approved these amendments ipso facto, following the ratification of the Final Acts of the Additional Plenipotentiary Conference, Geneva, 1992. The Notice of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs no. 87/2001, of 7 August, publicized this approval.
Further amendments to the Radiocommunications Regulation were approved thereafter:

- Final Acts of the World Radiocommunication Conference, Geneva, 2003 (WRC-2003) - the approval process of which is currently under way.
- Final Acts of the World Radiocommunication Conference, Geneva, 2007 (WRC-2007) - the approval process of which is currently under way.
- Final Acts of the World Radiocommunication Conference, Geneva, 2012 (WRC-2012) - the approval process of which is currently under way.
- Final Acts of the World Radiocommunication Conference, Geneva, 2015 (WRC-2015) - the approval process of which is currently under way.
