The Centro Laboratorial e Normalização da ANACOM (CLN) is accredited by IPAC - Instituto Português de Acreditação (Portuguese Institute of Accreditation), according to Standard NP EN ISO/IEC 17025 for the tests mentioned in the IPAC Technical Accreditation Annex no. L0114 and for carrying out the calibrations listed in the IPAC Technical Accreditation Annex no. M0053.
The IPAC is a signatory to the mutual recognition arrangements of the European Co-operation for Accreditation (EA) for calibration, testing, certifications and inspections.
Providing support to operational areas, there is a functional component called Quality Metrics, which provides support for calibration and for tests/measurements. In addition, and because it is an Accredited Laboratory, the CLN's Quality Management component is also served by this Support Area.
