NOTAS: | Survey conducted by TNS political & social at the request of the European Commission, Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content & Technology. "Today the European Commission published the results of a study on electronic communications. The findings of the study show that Europeans are increasingly using internet-based communication. The study found mobile internet access increased significantly with 69% of households now having at least one member with a mobile internet access, a +21 points increase over 2014. While last year's edition was focused on roaming and net neutrality, this year's edition puts the emphasis on the uptake of Internet-based communication services and the associated perception of needs for consumer protection, as it currently exists for traditional communications services, in relation with the forthcoming review of the regulatory framework for electronic communications." |
