Its transformation programme is in place for the domestic market and it is taking steps to enhance the customer experience and improve efficiencies across the business. In addition, Portugal Telecom has international operations in Brazil, Africa and Asia and a total customer base of more than 70 million clients. The Brazilian assets make a large contribution to the group performance, but with Telefonica as a joint partner its future it far from certain. |
